Need Your Opinion

O.k., everyone. We want your ideas. The Wood Artist found this banjo shell at the dump. The wood is in great condition and he wants to make an art object out of it. What are your ideas??????

In other news, Laughing Water and Mr. Blueberry Eyes are practicing hard for a guitar/violin duet. They have a recital coming up and will play "Polar Bear Kiss", a song their teacher composed for them and let Mr. Blueberry Eyes name.

Wonderful! I suggest a shadowbox/picture frame. cover the entire back with a picture of the kids playing their instruments, similar to the one on the webpage now, and then glue tiny mementos or decorative things (toy-sized instruments, musical notes (Joann'a had some at Christmas, in the form of ornaments) inside the shell. Finish off with some wire-edged ribbon, in a musical theme, wound loosely round the tall part-don't know the terminology, not a stringed instrument person :)

How much does he want for it? I'd like to have it to turn it into a banjo. Looks like it is mostly finished. I'd hate to see it used for some art object, when it has the potential to be a good banjo.
If the pot is good, I have a neck for it. If the neck is good, then a pot is not to far away. The fact that it has frets on it, is a big plus. Even with a warped neck I think it is restorable

The children look very serious in their practice. Deep concentration I am sure. Love the picture though. Surely would love to hear their recital again. Wish it wasn't so hard to come on a Wed. Not sure it would work this year.
