
We've done some spectacular hiking recently and I plan to write about it soon, but to whet your appetite, I thought I'd post a few photos of the creatures we've seen. Here is a hoary marmot. He is eating as much as he can so he can go into the long winter well nourished. Hmmm. That sounds like a great plan. Eat one's self into oblivion for six months and then sleep for six months! Where was I when that position was hiring?!

Here is a great looking goat - healthy, strong, a lush, clean coat growing. And you really can't beat the backdrop!

Awwww!!! Babies always get me!
