I think these are things you are already doing, but thought I'd add my two cents :)

I make it a priority to go away to Women's Retreat weekends. Always so refreshing! I also treat myself to a pedicure at the beauty school at least once a year.

Some of us ladies at church get together for supper/brunch/lunch at least once every couple months. So fun!

I prefer the Sleep Well drops with melatonin. They work fast and best for me. I take about 1 dropper full. The last time I purchased Melatonin, though, I got tablets and I have to take 2 and they take a long time to start working, if they work at all. - Nanette

We start back to music lessons tomorrow! Actually have one daughter having neck problems due to being too intense on the violin, so taking a break and enjoying the cello. It really pays to be hyper-vigilant with the teachers about posture, etc... it's only part of the trouble for Bri... but still.

We love going to the library online, too... only they ship the books to my mailbox for me. No postage due.

Well Nan, I finally found something we differ on. I love shopping for clothes but I hate shopping for food! Too bad I have to do the food thing a whole lot more often then the clothes thing.
School is also wonderful this year. We've been doing it for about 3 weeks now and the kids are really loving it. I'm trying out the sequential spelling this year as my kids are horrible spellers. I can't seem to find a conventional program that works for Caleb but his reading has improved and I'm hoping for miracles with the sequential spelling program. Love it so far!

The twins don't look like twins but they are both so clean shaven and military looking. Here's hoping that Daniel smiles more often when the camera is not present. It looks like life has taken on an adventursome bush man kind of look for Shaggy brother, Ziggy! He looks like the a fun character. Glad you had a chance to get together! I miss my family right now and wish we could do that too.

I am honored to have you visit my blog. I wish to thank you for telling your mother's story. It is a story, like so many Holocaust stories that must be told.

I was disturbed, even horrified to learn from my young cousin that her teacher here in my valley has told her that the holocaust never happened. It is the stories of eyewitnesses like your mother that will educate our young.

I have to confess I'm not exactly sure where you live Nannette but if you ever make it over to Bonners Ferry next summer, Uncle Ed has quite a few of your fantasy patches. This was a bumper crop year. He picked 5-6 gallons in about 8 hours over 2 days. The kids and I picked about a gallon and a half with him one of those days and like you, mine are now either in the freezer for huckleberry pancakes or in nice little jam jars as huckleberry-jalapeno chutney. Mom is the jam and syrup maker. Hope you can make it to first snow...we didn't :)
